Acupuncture and moxibustion are used to adjust pathological conditions such as stagnation of the routes (meridians) that circulate Qi and blood, and balance the entire body.

The thickness of the needles used in acupuncture and moxibustion is 0.14mm to 0.30mm, and the thickness of Japanese hair is said to be 0.10mm to 0.15mm, which is close to the thickness of human hair. Fully sterile (ethylene oxide gas treated) disposable acupuncture needles are used for each treatment.
